New Port of Limay home seen

MARIVELES, Bataan — The Bureau of Customs Port of Limay has temporarily moved to the Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan annex building inside the Freeport Area while a new sub port collector of Mariveles has been designated.

District collector Atty. William B. Balayo revealed that they are temporarily holding office in AFAB building to pave the pay for the construction of their new office in barangay Lamao in Limay.

The old office of the BoC in Limay will be demolished and repalced with a new building.

The Port of Limay is one of the biggest contributors to the national coffers, having been able to surpass its targets for 16 consecutive months.

Over at the Mariveles sub port, Atty. Nino Kjell F. Servanez, was named Port Collector of by virtue of the order issued by Customs commissioner Yogi Ruiz.

Prior to his designation as Mariveles sub port collector, Servanes was the acting chief of the Law Division and the chief of Auction and Cargo Disposal Division at the Port of Limay.

Balayo expressed optimism that Servanes will be an excellent partner of his office who can also contribute immensely to the much-needed revenue collection of the national government.
