The police netted four newly identified drug personalities, including a boy who was rescued in separate buy bust operations by the police in Malabon City.

According to Malabon police chief Col. Albert Barot, at around 2:00 am when operatives of the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of the Malabon City Police under the supervision of PLt. Alexander Dela Cruz conducted a buy bust operation at C4 Road corner Leoño St., Brgy. Tañong.

A police officer who served as a poseur-buyer was able to buy P500 worth of shabu from a 15 year old boy and his accomplice, Peter Jayson Legaspi, 30, a street vendor.

When the suspects accepted the marked money from the poseur-buyer in exchange for a plastic sachet of shabu, the operatives, along with Allan Bataanon, 36, who is said to be a patron of the two, immediately grabbed them.

About 8 grams of suspected shabu with a standard drug price of P54,400 and buy bust money were confiscated from the suspects.
Meanwhile, at around 2:40 am when the other Malabon Police SDEU team also arrested Rolando Martinez, 54, of Caloocan City in the buy bust operation at M.H Del Pilar corner Paz St. Brgy. Tugatog, of which, 1.5 grams of suspected shabu with a value of P10,200.00 and P300.00 marked money were obtained from him.

The suspects are facing charges of violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002 while the minor was turned over to the Malabon CSWD.
