A radio commentator Power 102.1 DYRY RFM end up dead after his neighbor slashed his neck on Sunday night in Mabinay, Negros Oriental.
The victim was identified as Rey Blanco, also known as DJ Blangko, while the suspect identified as Charles Yanoc Amada, both resident of Brgy. Himocdungon, Mabinay, Negros Oriental.
Based on the report of the Mabinay Municipal Police Station, it was around 6:00 pm, when the incident occurred at the house of the suspect.
According to PMaj. Paul Vincent Dumaguing, chief of the Mabinay Police Station, the victim went to the suspect's house to talk to his brother, Wilbert Amada.
But instead of Wilbert, Charles came out and confronted Blanco, where a misunderstanding between the two ignite, until the suspect took a knife and slashed the victim's neck.
The victim was able to rushed to the Mabinay Community Hospital but didn't reached the hospital alive.
When the police responded to the scene of the crime, they immediately found the suspect who also willingly surrendered to them.
The case to be filed against the suspect is being prepared while the investigation by the authorities continues to find out the real motive of the incident.
