Chinese ‘kidnapper’ falls

A Chinese national "responsible for kidnapping a Malaysian" was presented Tuesday in Camp Crame in Quezon City.

DILG Sec. Benjamin Abalos Jr. identified the suspect as Justin Alaraz (28).

Alaraz was arrested at Naia Terminal 1 for kidnapping Lim Voon Pei (35).

Authorities received an intel that the suspect was going to Naia Terminal 2 to kidnap the victim. The PNP Anti-Kidnapping Group and Aviation and Security Group intercepted the suspect's vehicle and the victim was rescued.

The victim went to the Philippines to see her boyfriend, whom she met on a dating app.
