Vice Ganda is stoked.

The top TV host and comedy actor is raring to do something he missed for the past two years due to the pandemic — shooting a movie for the Metro Manila Film Festival.

His last MMFF appearance was 2019's The Mall, The Merrier.

"Punong-puno ako ng excitement, anticipation. Masaya lang ako. Masaya akong gagawin ito. Buong-buo 'yung loob ko. Handa ako. Nag-aabang na talaga ako ng araw na magsisimula kami," the ABS-CBN talent said in a recent media conference for the movie Partners in Crime.

Produced by Star Cinema, Partners in Crime is about an ex-couple, some unsettled issues, and an illegal activity.

For his MMFF comeback movie, Vice is co-starring with Ivana Alawi, with Cathy Garcia Molina directing.

Molina helmed two of the country's highest-grossing movies of all time, Hello, Love, Goodbye, and The Hows of Us.

"Excited talaga ako to be 'Cathy-fied.' I expect and I willingly embrace yung may 'Cathyfication' — the 'Cathyfication' of Vice Ganda this Christmas," Vice said.

Ivana, meanwhile, said she and her family have been Vice Ganda fans for a long time, and she's honored to be working with him in a movie.

Mga 20 to 21 (years old) pa ko 'nun, lasinggera days ko," Ivana said.
