The BoC-NAIA is also coordinating with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency to enhance K-9 screening and guard against the importation of illegal drugs.

In addition, the Port also deployed the Trace Detection System to reinforce non-intrusive scanning capabilities and combat agricultural smuggling in the country.

BoC-NAIA District Collector Carmelita Talusan said that the Port of NAIA is the nation's premier port acting as an international gateway to the country.
