Cardinals snatch early win from Red Lions

Mapua University is off to a great start with its first win over San Beda University, 65-55, in Season 98 of the National Collegiate Athletic Association men's basketball on 10 September at Smart Araneta Coliseum.

The Cardinals maintained a one-sided game against the Red Lions all night.

Arvin Gamboa led Mapua's assault with 13 points and two rebounds.

James Kwekuteye scored 15 markers for the Red Lions.
