Navotas Polytechnic College grads get incentive

The Navotas city government distributed cash incentives to graduates of Navotas Polytechnic College (NPC).

Some 505 NPC graduates for academic year 2021-2022 received P1,500 each.

"Soon, most of you will join thousands of new graduates seeking employment. We hope you will get the jobs you dreamed of and flourish in your chosen career," Mayor John Rey Tiangco said.

Tiangco also reminded the graduates that the city has programs if they decide to put up their own business or learn technical-vocational skills.

"Our NavotaAs Hanapbuhay Center can assist you if you need capital for your business. On the other hand, our NAVOTAAS Institute offers free tech-voc courses to help you develop in-demand skills in various industries," he said.

Navotas started granting cash incentives for the city's public school graduates since 2019 by virtue of City Ordinance 2019-03.

Aside from NPC graduates, elementary and senior high school completers also received P500 and P1,000, respectively.

Cash incentives for elementary and senior high school graduates were distributed last July 14 and 15.
