Magnificent ‘Men who matter’

Strong, successful, and human are the qualities that represent this year’s “Men Who Matter” choices by PeopleAsia magazine.

The hardworking folks behind the mag held its 2022 MWM awards night at the New World Makati, later followed by a dance party.

Party people held sway at the grand ballroom, where disco records and live bands played all night.

The evening’s highlight was the presentation of the marvelous Men Who Matter, who were recognized for their impact in their respective fields, and most importantly, how they are as people.

Among them are lawyers, a pilot, a chef, a chemist, a self-made entrepreneur, a basketball player, a journalist, a cardiologist, top business executives, and more.

The roster shows one doesn’t need to be in a specific field to make a difference.

Congratulations to the magnificent Men Who Matter and to PeopleAsia’s team that has been organizing the event without fail every year and which I look forward to attending every time.

Mario Katigbak and Bum Tenorio.

Great job and bravo, Joanne Rae Ramirez, Alex Y. Vergara, Jannette Velasco, Jose Paolo dela Cruz, and Bumbum Tenorio.

I’m excited for the next PeopleAsia event. It just gets better and better!
