Yuka Saso kept the ball in play off the tee and was rewarded with a closing four-under-par 67 in the Dana Open Championship at the Highland Meadows Golf Club in Sylvania, Ohio Sunday.

A day after hitting only five of 14 fairways, the 21-year-old Filipino-Japanese missed only three fairways this time, producing six birdies against two bogeys.

She finished in joint 38th on 8-under 276, 10 shots off Mexican winner Gaby Lopez.

Saso made three birdies at the back, her opening nine before stumbling with a bogey on 1. She birdied 2 and bogeyed 7 before finishing with back-to-back birdies.

Meanwhile, Abby Arevalo picked up a $1,240 paycheck after finishing in a share of 38th spot in the Wildhorse Ladies Golf Classic in Pendleton, Oregon.

The 23-year-old Filipina, priming up for the second stage of the LPGA Tour Q-School next month, shot a third-straight 70 for a 54-hole total of 210, 12 shots behind American winner Daniela Iacobelli who closed with a 66.

After reaching the turn on 2-over after one birdie against three bogeys, Arevalo finished strong with four birdies at the back.
