Following her visit to the Philippines, she will travel to Hanoi, Vietnam, from 8 to 10 September.

US State Department Undersecretary Bonnie Jenkins will visit the Philippines from 5 to 7 September, spokesperson Ned Price said on Saturday.
During the three-day visit, Jenkins will meet with senior officials and civil society partners to discuss civil nuclear energy cooperation, strategic trade control, and global health security, according to a statement.
Following her visit to the Philippines, she will travel to Hanoi, Vietnam, from 8 to 10 September, to meet with senior officials and civil society partners to discuss aviation and border security, nuclear nonproliferation, global health security, peacekeeping capacity building, and cooperative efforts to expand women's meaningful participation in all phases of peacebuilding.
Jenkins will also pay a visit to the Quang Tri Mine Action Center to meet with demining women and observe unexploded ordnance surveys and clearance.

According to Price, the visit will demonstrate US-Vietnam cooperation in surveying and clearing legacy unexploded ordnance.
The final leg will take her to Singapore from 11 to 14 September, where she will meet with the nation's senior officials to discuss a variety of issues, including strategic trade and export control.
She will also meet with civil society partners working to improve global biosecurity and safety. Jenkins will also be in Singapore for the 2022 Singapore Export Control Summit, where she will deliver remarks at the 10th annual Joint Industry Outreach event co-sponsored by the US and Japan, as well as meet with women from the region at the inaugural Women in Strategic Trade event.
