Happily ever afters can still happen after all and just as one is hoping for them to happen at this weekend's (3 and 4 September) at the The Peninsula Manila. After a two-year pause, Weddings at The Peninsula and More returns to mark the 46th year since The Peninsula Manila hosted its first wedding reception.

To celebrate this milestone event, the hotel is partnering with industry leaders Rita Neri Event Planners (RNEP) and Manila Fashion Festival (MFF), in addition to other inspiring leaders from the Philippine wedding and events industry, for an event that will give attendees the chance to peruse a range of wedding and celebratory essentials, each one chosen for their signature style and savoir faire – from bridal finery to tabletop decorations, delicious cakes and blooming bouquets to honeymoon and holiday destinations, and many more.

Expect two full day's worth of inspiring and enriching activities starting from 10 am to 6 pm. Don't miss the first-ever Manila Fashion Festival Bridal Collection on 3 September.

Love and joy are definitely suffused in the air as the hotel's iconic lobby as floral artist Zena Pineda decorates the famous spot with garlands and grand bouquets of flowers.

Meanwhile, the Upper Lobby will be transformed into a pop-up space offering a showcase of jewelry from Mel Diamonds; bespoke shoewear from Jimmy Choo and Shoepatos; lifestyle selections from West Elm; makeup artists from Bobbi Brown, Estee Lauder and Jo Malone; holiday and honeymoon destinations from the Peninsula Hotels in Asia, the US and Europe to those in Punta Fuego, Tagaytay and El Nido; tablescapes by Beng Villanueva and Teddy Manuel; and the bridal collections by the designers of the Manila Fashion Festival.

The Conservatory will feature a carefully selected gathering of the country's most exclusive wedding and party suppliers and stylists like Gideon Hermosa, Jason Magbanua, Dave Sandoval, RJ Ledesma, Cake Concept, and dozens more whose vetted services and seasoned advice are an invaluable resource when planning one of the most important moments in a couple's life.

"The Weddings at The Peninsula and More brand is known to be one of the most beautiful bridal fairs in the Philippines" says Masahisa Oba, General Manager of The Peninsula Manila. "Our partnership with Ms. Rita Neri and Philippine Fashion festival promises to further elevate an already spectacular event."

"While it's true that weddings, birthdays, christenings, etc. take place every day, we believe that every single one should feel like a once-in-a-lifetime experience so there is no such thing as too perfect — not when you are planning what is most likely the most memorable day of your life," says RNEP president Rita Neri. "Our partnership with The Peninsula goes back many years because we both believe in the promise to make our clients' big day unforgettable."
