The He's Into Her cast took over Smart Araneta Coliseum on Saturday, 27 August, to officially mark the end of the second season of the show. The concert became a sea of colorful lightsticks, ecstatic screams, creative banners and endless "thank you's" from the stars.
The "New Gen Phenomenal Love Team" of Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano emerged on stage with a
kilig-inducing bearkadas production number, kicking off the eagerly anticipated show.
"I feel like it's still a dream," said Pangilinan, adding that the sea of fan love before them was a "blessing."
Mariano said she was "emotional" and amazed at the turnout, since over the past two years most of their fan engagements had been online.
The couple then performed a moving interpretive dance to the tune of Moira de la Torre and Jason Marvin's "Ikaw at Ako," their palpable chemistry sending their fans into even more frenzied screams.
Colbie Caillat's hit "Bubbly" then showed DonBelle's unwavering bond with their fans as the crowd sang along with the pair with great fervor, and put on a dazzling display of swaying lights for the loveteam to enjoy.
The rest of the cast also sang songs from the BGYO soundtrack for He's Into Her. But possibly the most emotional moment of the event came when they sang Belle's "Rise" and took part in a mock-graduation ceremony where each of them had a voice-over discussing their experience working on and now wrapping up their record-breaking series on iWantTFC.
To mark Star Cinema's return to the big screen, DonBelle will star in the upcoming movie An Inconvenient Love, directed by Petersen Vargas and opening in theaters on 23 November. This phenomenal love team is on a roll.
