Two more regional wage boards have approved an increase in the salary of minimum wage earners ranging from P32 to P34, the Philippine News Agency reported Saturday.
According to Director Rolly Francia, Information and Publication Service, the Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Boards (RTWPB) in Regions 4-B (Mimaropa) and 12 (Soccsksargen) have approved salary adjustments for private-sector employees last Friday.
He said the Board in Region 4-B also granted an increase in the take-home pay of domestic workers there.
The P35 wage increase was given under Wage Order RB-Mimaropa-10, bringing the new minimum wage rate to P329 for establishments with less than 10 workers and P355 for establishments employing 10 or more.
