The Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Valenzuela (PLV) was among the educational institutions feted during the Gawad Parangal 2022 of the Commission on Higher Education (CHEd).
PLV gained the nod as 75 percent of its program offerings have been issued CHEd’s Certificate of Program Compliance.
Meanwhile, the Valenzuela Polytechnic is being expanded to accommodate more students next school year. It will have four learning “factories” where students can experience hands-on training.
The Valenzuela city government said it has adjusted its educational offerings in collaboration with CHEd, the Department of Education, the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority and the Department of Trade and Industry to make them relevant with jobs that are in demand.
