Bacolod drug peddlers fall

Authorities in Bacolod City arrested two individuals in separate sting operations in the city which resulted to the confiscation of illegal drugs worth P1.8 million.
The suspects were identified as Gerald Magno Barillo and Eric Baldomero Mugdan.
Barillo was arrested by operatives from the Bacolod CPO, City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU) during a drug buy-bust operation at Purok Neptune in Barangay Singcang-Airport and yielded 18 sachets and two knot-tied plastic bags containing suspected shabu weighing more or less 205 grams with an estimated standard drug price of P1,394,000, one digital weighing scale, and the buy-bust money.
Mugdan, on the other hand, was arrested by elements of CDEU, Bacolod CPO during drug-bust operation at Purok Gabi in Barangay 4.
Seized from the suspect were 13 sachets and one knot-tied plastic bag containing suspected shabu weighing more or less 63 grams with an estimated standard drug price of P428,000, buy-bust money, P150 cash proceeds, and a pouch.
