The Philippine national Esports team Sibol has won a gold medal in Mobile Legends following an impressive 3-1 win over Indonesia in the grand finals of SEA Games 2022 this Friday in Hanoi, Vietnam.
“All I can say is the Philippines is the strongest. Shoutout to Dogie, you’re the only one afraid. To the Philippine teams that are going to represent us at MSC, do your best I am sure you will win it,” Blacklist International Season 9 captain Imam said after the match.
Primarily composed of Blacklist International players Johnmar Villaluna, Danerie James Del Rosario, Salic Imam, Lee Howard Gonzales, and Kyle Dominic Soto, Sibol only lost two games in their entire campaign en route to winning a gold medal in the biennial sports meet.
During moments when Sibol seemed like on the verge of losing, its rookie players Soto and Gonzales often stepped up to the plate to pull off a clutch and save the day for the Philippines while star jungler Del Rosario showcased a new tank meta in the jungle.
“After a dominant SEA Games 2022 run, SIBOL MLBB 2022 climbs the mountains and stakes their claim on the Mobile Legends supremacy for the Philippines in the whole of Southeast Asia!” Sibol wrote on its Facebook page.
