WATCH: Apex Legends unveils new character Newcastle

Apex Legends Season 13 is set to introduce a new character in Newcastle along with various game changes for Apex Legends: Saviors on May 10 (US time).

Newcastle, a heavily armored legend, has a passive ability that creates a shield to protect and drag downed allies to safety.

His tactical Mobile Shield is an impenetrable shield wall that moves forward to a target direction while his ultimate Castle Wall allows him to slam a mini wall fortress to a target location.

Respawn is also shaking things up in ranked games for the upcoming season as the developer added a higher RP entry cost in the higher ranks and players can now be demoted to a lower tier.
