400K shabu seized in Antipolo drug bust

Authorities arrested a suspect and seized more than P400,000-worth of alleged shabu in an anti-illegal drugs operation in Antipolo City early Thursday morning.
Nabbed in the operation was 29-year-old Aaron Cabuhat, a resident of Barangay Sta. Cruz, Antipolo City.
The suspect was arrested in a buy-bust operation conducted by operatives of drug enforcement unit of Antipolo City Police Station inside his house in Victoria Valley Subdivision around 12:14 a.m.
Recovered from the suspect were 23 pieces heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing more or less 61.8 grams with an estimated street value of P420,240, a blue sling bag, a black pouch, one unit North American Arms 9mm revolver with nine pieces 9mm live ammunition.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the suspect.
