Running mates Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson and Senate President Vicente “Tito” Sotto III met with Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto on Wednesday ahead of their scheduled campaign activities in the city.
In an interview, Vico’s father, actor Vic Sotto said the hour-long meeting was a candid discussion.
“Anak ko diba? Obvious naman,” Vic told reporters when asked if he helped setup the meeting.
While Senate President Sotto refused to give a categorical answer on Vico’s endorsement.
He, however, thanked him for the “accorded courtesy” saying it speaks “a thousand words.”
“The commitment was we’re very much accorded courtesy in our courtesy call. I think that says a lot of things,” the senator told reporters in a press briefing.
Its more than enough. It says a thousand words,” he said.
