Ryan Reyes rediscovered his vintage form to back rookie Mikey William’s stellar performance to lead TNT to a 119-92 rout of Barangay Ginebra in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) Governors’ Cup at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Friday.

Williams delivered another impressive night as he punched in a team-high 26 points but it was Reyes who took the spotlight with a near-perfect clip from beyond the arc. The veteran dropped 24 points off an 8-of-9 three-point clip.

Ageless Jayson Castro also stepped up and chipped in 18 points, while import Aaron Fuller had a double-double outing of 13 points and 14 rebounds.

The win capped TNT’s grueling schedule against San Miguel Corporation owned-teams this week, claiming victories over the Kings and San Miguel Beer. The Tropang Giga suffered a loss to league-leader Magnolia.

Ginebra, meanwhile, fell to a 3-3 slate and registered its first-ever three-game slide in seven conferences.

Justin Brownlee finished with 25 points and nine boards, while Japeth Aguilar led the locals with 16 markers.
