Left without their bust hero, GPX pushed down the middle to end the series in 20 minutes to advance to the finals.

Bren Victress came up short in the semifinals of the Mobile Legends: Women’s Invitational this Sunday afternoon, 30 January, following a 1-2 loss at the hands of GPX Basreng.

Bren’s Krish, ASHEE, Taro, Lexaaa, and Defrost scored the opening salvo, only to see the Indonesians make a comeback in Game 2.

Game 3 was decided with Bren playing Yve, Edith, Beatrix, Hayabusa, and Ruby, while GPX fought back with Lylia, Yu Zhong, Clint, Paquito, and Valentina.

The game looked close in the early going and up to the mid game, as Defrost roamed the map with his Ruby to pick apart and kill any poor hero caught with her ultimate.

By the 11th minute, Bren was ahead on kills 9-7 but was behind on gold by 4,000 and turrets destroyed by 1-7.

Just when all hope seems lost, Taro came alive with her Beatrix and made a series of kills that brought Bren back to the contest.

Bren then destroyed all but the tier three turrets across all lanes. They looked on the verge of a comeback until GPX caught Beatrix just outside the lord pit.

Left without their bust hero, GPX pushed down the middle to end the series in 20 minutes to advance to the finals.
