Bryan Bagunas erupted for 23 points as Oita Miyoshi Weisse Adler survived the Wolfdogs Nagoya, 18-25, 23-25, 30-28, 26-24, 15-13, in the Japan V.League on Saturday, 29 January.
At the Cycle Shop Kodama Osu Arena, Oita Miyoshi managed to get back up from a 0-2 deficit for their fifth win in 21 games.
Meanwhile, Marck Espejo was sidelined on today’s game as FC Tokyo got swept by JTEKT Stings, 17-25, 12-25, 19-25, at the Sumida Ward General Gymnasium in Tokyo.
FC Tokyo absorbed their 15th loss of the season, putting them at eighth place after 21 games.
