Omega Empress suffered a 1-0 setback in its opening match against IDNS Princess at the Mobile Legends: Women’s Invitational, Thursday afternoon.
Omega’s Amore, Fibii, Shinoa, Keishi, and Meraaay went for a double support lineup of Mathilda, Estes, Gloo, Popol and Kupa, and Ling. IDNS, meanwhile, played Lolita, Phoveus, Lancelot, Cecilion, and Claude.
Omega was ahead on gold, kills, and objectives throughout the match as they took advantage of IDNS’ lack of crowd control in their lineup.
The fight dragged on for more than 30 minutes and come the late game, Omega’s lack of damage became apparent when they failed to close the match even with lord on their side.
Behind on kills 10-20, IDNS’ Lancelot stole the enhanced lord at the 36:20 mark that turned the tide to their favor.
IDNS cleared the lanes then went for a GG push down the middle then killed Keishi’s Ling before ending that match at the 38:15 mark.
