Eight new players, including a returning setter, are beefing up the BaliPure Purest Water Defenders roster in the coming Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Open Conference.

Joining the Defenders are Jhoana Maraguinot, (previously of the Perlas Spikers), Janine Marciano, Julia Ipac and Rapril Aguilar (Cignal HD Spikers), Marian Buitre (Chery Tiggo Crossovers), Jamie Lavitoria (Choco Mucho Flying Titans), and veteran Patty Orendain.

Alina Bicar, who recently signed with Petro Gazz Angels, returns to BaliPure, whose ace hitter Graze Bombita moved to the HD Spikers in 2021.
The Water Defenders want to get over their dismal seventh-place finish with PLDT in the 2021 PVL Open.
BaliPure team manager Gil Cortez told Daily Tribune the team’s new members were chosen by the coaching staff.
