Vice President Leni Robredo on Friday said that infrastructure projects will still be among the priorities if she wins the 2022 polls.
“Infrastructure will most definitely remain a priority. But we must ensure we’re building in a strategic, impactful manner and not just building for the sake of saying we’re building,” Robredo said at the virtual economic forum hosted by the Financial Executives Institute of the Philippines (FINEX).
Robredo said her programs for economic reform will focus on three priority areas such as water resources management, public transportation and rural development, and reconstruction of public infrastructures in calamity-stricken areas.
She noted that even before the Covid-19 pandemic brought havoc in the country, clean water supply was already a problem in the country.
