Navotas predator falls for drunk rape

A 29-year-old businessman landed behind the bars for molesting a drunk 15-year-old girl in his house in the wee hours yesterday in Navotas.

The suspect, identified as Edmar Santilices of Medina St., Barangay NBBN, was immediately arrested when the grandmother of the victim asked authorities for help after learning of the incident.

Per Navotas Police, the victim allegedly accepted the invitation of the suspect, whom he considered as an older friend, along with her other friends.

After three bottles of beer, the victim felt dizzy, so she was allowed by the suspect to rest in his room, while her friends continued drinking.

The victim woke up to what the suspect was doing to her. She wanted to fight, to no avail.
