The Land Transportation Office (LTO) will start implementing the no-vaccination, no-travel policy of the government starting on Monday.
Only fully vaccinated passengers will be allowed to board public utility vehicles with random inspection to ensure compliance.

Those who are availing of the exemptions must show medical certificates showing their conditions that prevent them from being vaccinated against Covid-19.

Likewise, unvaccinated persons availing of the exemption to procure essential goods and services, or those with emergencies, will also be required to prove their intent.

The LTO has issued a memorandum circular to implement an order of its mother agency, the Department of Transportation, under department order 2022-01.

Operators and drivers of all public utility vehicles like buses, jeepneys, taxis and other for-hire vehicles, will be required to comply with the order.

The drivers and conductors have been tasked to ask the passengers to show their vaccination cards or pertinent documents pertaining to the exemptions being sought.
