The Quezon City police on Thursday seized nearly P1-million worth of suspected shabu from suspects in two sting operations that collared a Regional Priority Target Personality.

Operatives of the QC Police District nabbed target suspect Michael Bryan Ortiz, 30 years old; and Josephine de la Cruz, 27 years old after they attempted to sell suspected shabu to state agents.

The transaction transpired at around 2:40 a.m. in front of 2 M.H. Del Pilar St., Barangay San Antonio, Quezon City where the duo was cornered in possession of some 100 grams of the crystal substance valued at P680,000.

While Ortiz was listed as a Regional Priority Target Drug Personality, De la Cruz was in the Directorate for Intelligence (DI) watchlist.

PMaj. Wennie Ann A Cale, the Officer-in-Charge of District Drug Enforcement Unit, said the pair are residents of Barangay Apolonio Samson, also in Quezon City.

In a separate operation, PLt. Col. Tyrone DG Valenzona, the Station Commander of La Loma Police Station, reported the arrest of Adrian Aleganza, 22-years-old and a resident of Barangay Paang Bundok, Quezon City.
