If you’re a frequent reader of the social columns and lifestyle pages, you’re likely to come across certain names that sound new or unheard of.

While this may be the case with a number of women who were labeled as “left to right,” alluding to their high visibility, especially on print, long before there were Facebook and other social media platforms, a number have transcended their so-called social climbing days and become “pillars of society” especially when it comes to raising funds for a good cause.

Nympha J. Valencia has many facets to her personality that make her likeable, respected and admired.

Their prominence and talent for persuasion have, of course, been plus points, along with their ability to buy and fill up tables in charity events should there be not enough takers.

The lady I am proud to feature today, as I return from a season of challenges in my personal health, had previously excelled in the banking profession and, in her “retirement,” has devoted her time and gifts to apostolate work.

Just so you would know, she was recommended by no less than the leading light of the diplomatic world, Fortune Ledesma.

Fortune’s reasons are as varied as one can surmise but as you get to know Nympha J. Valencia, you realize this lady has many facets to her personality that make her likable, respected and admired, and she does not have to try too hard like the left-to-right brigade of the post-EDSA years of social climbing.
