Caloocan rules ‘no vax, no entry’

Public places and commercial establishments in Caloocan City will no longer allow entry to unvaccinated residents and guests.

The “No Proof of Vaccination, No Entry” will now become a policy backed by City Ordinance 0959 Series of 2022, City Mayor Oscar Malapitan said.

Personnel of the Caloocan City Public Safety and Traffic Management Department will also conduct random inspections of individuals and groups to ensure the implementation of the order.

The operation will be on top of the usual checks on body temperature, order to fill our health declaration forms, and the use of the StaySafe.ph QR code.

Unvaccinated individuals are also being encouraged to volunteer for vaccination as Alert Level 3 remains enforced in Metro Manila while another surge in Covid-19 cases is presently threatening to overwhelm the region’s healthcare system.

The City government also reminded citizens to always bring their vaccination records when they leave home.
