Vespa recently opened its SM Mall of Asia branch, sealing the brand’s 75th year founding anniversary this 2021. This newest Italian hub is spearheaded by a team of three seasoned entrepreneurs, all successful in their respective industries as Vespa Mall of Asia aims to create a community of loyal enthusiasts, uplifting the Vespa spirit by introducing premium flagship units and efforts, such as a VIP Membership Card and a Sunday Coffee Coffee Club for valued clients.

“The pandemic magnified the Filipino’s interest in riding motorcycles,” said Jojo Magpoc, one of the co-directors of Moto Filiale, Vespa Mall of Asia’s parent company.

“We saw the opportunity for this market to expand seeing that a lot of us really became outdoor people during the pandemic, weekend rides for motorcycle groups are getting more popular and SM Mall of Asia is really one of the more popular destinations for these groups. So, it made sense to open a branch here so these enthusiasts can have a place to meet and hang out,” he added.

Along with the branch’s official opening, they also launched their VIP Membership Card for their clients, entitling them to avail of perks and discounts for parts and services exclusively available at the branch.

VESPA executives and staff welcome the new year strong with its newest hub in SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City.

“When they purchase a unit from us, they are automatically part of the VIP Club. For those with existing Vespa units, they just have to accumulate at least P10,000 worth of purchase from our services, parts and accessories to get a VIP card,” Alex Ching, co-director of Moto Filiale, explained.

“Benefits include up to 10-percent discount on parts and accessories and up to 15-percent discount on services here at Vespa Mall of Asia,” he added.

The team also targets to launch the Vespa Mall of Asia Sunday Coffee Club in January 2022.

“The idea is every Sunday, those who ride to Mall of Asia using their Vespa scooters get free coffee and they also get to chat with other Vespa owners to share tips with each other,” Bon Ramos, Moto Filiale co-director, said.
