Sex in the movies has been portrayed in various ways. But Vivamax’s Eva is “unapologetically sexual. It’s about sexual exploration and discovery. It is really about sex and I think it’s time we talk about it,” said director Jeffrey Hidalgo.

Angeli Khang
If the director’s name sounds familiar, it’s because he’s the same Jeffrey Hidalgo of Filipino pop group Smokey Mountain.
“Just like in life, we tend to have preferences when it comes to power and position. That’s what the film talks about. It talks about the psyche of Eva and what gives her pleasure,” Hildalgo said in a media conference.
Angeli Khang, who plays the titular role, said the sexy scenes were a challenge to her since she’s still a newbie actor.
“Nevertheless, working with the cast made me feel comfortable. We became a big family helping each other. We even laugh after every bed scene,” Khang said.
