Come from behind: Ginebra edges out Alaska

Barangay Ginebra San Miguel kicked off its title-defending campaign with a 80-77 come-from-behind win over Alaska in the PBA Governors’ Cup on 12 December at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.
Justin Brownlee made a rousing return in the league as he led the Kings with 28 points, 10 rebounds, four assists and three steals to snap the Aces’ two-game winning streak in the conference.
Japeth Aguilar also finished with 11 points, five rebounds and two blocks.
Olu Ashaoulu top scored for Alaska with 19 points and 18 rebounds, while Robbie Herndon added 12 points and five boards.
Jeron Teng and Maverick Ahanmisi had 10 points apiece.
