National Vaccinations Operations Center (NVOC) Chairman and Health Undersecretary Myrna Cabotaje on Friday confirmed that more AstraZeneca and Moderna vaccines will expire this month and in January.

In an interview over DZMM, Cabotaje assured that the Department of Health (DoH) is taking the necessary steps to prevent more wastage of vaccines after more than 14,000 doses of AstraZeneca expired in November.

“Yes, there are AstraZeneca and Moderna that are expiring.

At the same time, Cabotaje said the DoH is now investigating the expiration of more than 14,000 doses of AstraZeneca vaccines in Negros Occidental.

“May mga AstraZeneca given in October pero hindi nai-jab. Iniimbestigahan natin yan.
