We made Monday sweet with Kenji’s Café — the perfect place for ube and leche flan lovers. It makes its own ube halaya and blends it in its pastry, together with its leche flan. Its best-seller, the ube cheese pandesal, has real ube halaya inside it! The gooey sweetness mixes well with the savory cheese at its center.

You’d think ube and leche flan are separate desserts, but Kenji’s Cafe will prove otherwise with its ube leche flan cake or cupcakes, whichever you prefer. The combined flavor is indeed a unique surprise! To top it off, it also serves coffee to go with the sweet of your choice.

If you want to take a break from fast-food and expensive takeouts, WML Krispy Sisig Station is just for you, with its delicious and affordable home-cooked meals served daily. By 1 a.m., the restaurant’s staff is ready to go shop for all the necessary ingredients for the day’s menu. And you can choose from as many as 15 classic Filipino viands.

Its best-seller? What else but the Krispy Sisig. It isn’t cooked on the usual sizzling plate, but it stays crispy even after it has been stored in the fridge for a day.

However, if you want to indulge in a putok-batok feast, then Kuta Balwarte is the place for you.
