20 schools in CAR to conduct pilot face-to-face classes

BAGUIO CITY—At least 20 schools in the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) were allowed to participate in the pilot face-to-face classes.

Department of Education Cordillera (DepEd) Cordillera Regional Director Estela Cariño said the in-person classes will start on 29 November 2021.

Cariño added that the participating schools met the requirements set by the agency.

She added that both the teaching and non-teaching personnel should be fully vaccinated while children need their parental consent.

Among the approved schools include Dalit National High School of Pilar and Mabungtot Elementary School of Langiden in Abra; Japa Elementary School  and Naguey Elementary School, in Atok in Benguet; Asipulo National High School and Haliap Elementary School, in Asipulo,Ifugao; Liyang Elementary School of Tanudan; Bonong Elementary School of Balbalan; San Pablo Integrated School; Toppan Integrated School and Guilayon Elementary School, all in Tabuk City, Kalinga; Maket-an Elementary School, Dacudac Elementary School, Cagubatan Elementary School and Lubon Elementary School, all in Tadian; Monamon Proper Elementary School of Bauko, Gonogon Elementary School  and Dalican Elementary School of Bontoc in Mountain Province.
