The City Government of Navotas distributed on Friday the P6,000 service recognition incentive to each of the barangay health workers who rendered service during the pandemic.
Under City Ordinance 2021-52, 193 Barangay Health Workers and Barangay Nutrition Scholars and members of the Barangay Health Emergency Response Team are granted with a one-time financial assistance.
“Our barangay workers have also been at the forefront of our fight against Covid-19, risking their lives while safeguarding ours,” Mayor Toby Tiangco said.
“We want to recognize their sacrifices and show our gratitude for their selfless service to Navoteños,” he added.
