Park Hyung-sik isn’t just an actor and an idol performer but he is now also a co-founder of a new label, P&Studio.
According to reports, P&Studio was established together with the managers who have been with Hyung-sik since his ZE:A days. It was in 2010 that Hyung-sik debuted with South Korean nine-member boy group ZE:A under Star Empire Entertainment.
He parted ways with agency UAA (United Artist Agency) last month and is now going to be under the new agency.
The 29-year-old artist ventured into acting in the 2011 action film Ronin Pop. He is well-known in various television series such as The Heirs (2013), Hwarang: The Poet Warrior of Youth (2016), and Strong Woman Do Bong Soon (2017).
He’ll be making his return to the small screen with the upcoming apocalyptic thriller drama Happiness, which will be his first drama after getting discharged from the military in January 2020. It is slated to premiere on 5 November.
Hyung-sik will be playing an intelligent detective named Jung Yi-hyun.
Hyung-sik won’t also be the only one who made a move to the new agency, as fellow labelmate from UAA Sung Yoo-bin is now under P&Studio.
“Park Hyung-sik and Sung Yoo-bin will begin activities at P&Studio, which was established by UAA management,” said UAA. “UAA invested in the establishment of P&Studio for the actors to carry out more diverse activities, and we will continue our strategic partnership.”
