Connie Guidote Guanzon is the daughter of industrialist Horacio Alvendia Guanzon and Anita Guidote, who co-founded Farmacia de Oro and was the franchised distributor of Citroen cars in the Philippines.
Anita, in gratitude of the miraculous healing in Lourdes, France, of her cancer built a replica of the Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes in their sprawling property in San Jose del Monte in Bulacan, complete with a church, a spring and a Calvary Hill with the 14 Stations of the Cross. It is now a popular site for religious pilgrimages.

Connie and Victor Garcia love to socialize for a cause.
Anita was in her 50s when she was diagnosed with cancer of the uterus in l961 and was given by her doctors three months to live. She lived for 30 more years.
Her daughter Connie, a Theresian in high school, and a Thomasian in college, was beautiful, fashionable and always in the limelight as she attended big social functions. She modeled for top Philippine fashion designers and was always featured in the society pages of newspapers. She graced the covers of magazines.

In his Home Office, he worked at the Offices of European Affairs and the Undersecretary for Policy.
Victor and Connie are happily enjoying their retirement travelling here and abroad, and attending government and diplomatic functions, charity balls and fashion events where, most of the time, Connie and Victor take the ramp as models. They are frequently seen in birthday and anniversary parties. Victor and Connie love to dance.
