Rep. Duterte continues public service amid isolation

DAVAO CITY – Davao First District Representative Paolo “Pulong” Duterte may have been afflicted by the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19), but it did not stop him from carrying out his duties as a public servant.

Even under isolation for Covid-19 infection, the lawmaker instructed the distribution of sacks of rice and cash assistance to all traffic enforcers of the city.

The solon’s office distributed at least 948 pieces of 10 kilograms of rice and cash assistance to the City Transport and Traffic Management Office (CTTMO) personnel from the first district to the third district.

The young Duterte also extended assistance to those in need of emergency assistance due to Covid-19 pandemic. The traffic enforcers are among the frontliners who work to ensure everyone’s safety on the road.

The lawmaker’s office assured that it complied with the health and safety protocols being implemented by the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) during the distribution of the rice and cash assistance.
