Filipino-American figure skater Sofia Frank kissed her Winter Olympics hopes goodbye as she landed at 24th place in the 2021 CS Nebelhorn Trophy in Oberstdorf, Germany late Saturday (Manila time).

Frank finished her campaign with an aggregate score of 128.78 points in the 36-entry field.

She had 81.13 points in women’s free skate to add to her 47.65 points scored in women’s short program last Friday.

Her efforts were not enough to book a spot in the 2022 Beijing Games which was reserved for the top six female figure skaters in the tournament which serves as qualifier for the Winter Olympics.

Fil-Canadian figure skater Edrian Celestino suffered the same fate in the men’s division.
