Young Filipino scholars and eager practitioners will directly acquire knowledge from multi-awarded educator, mentor and researcher Dr. Stephen McGuire of the California State University, Los Angeles, USA.
McGuire imparts his knowledge in Management and Culture with the graduate students pursuing Master in Human Resource Management at the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde-School of Management and Information Technology.
The expert earned his bachelor’s degree as magna cum laude from the Providence College in Rhode Island, USA and his Master of Business Administration from the IESE Business School of the University of Navarra in Spain. He completed his Ph.D. in Business Administration at The George Washington University in Washington D.C., USA.
McGuire has lectured management, organizational behavior and change, leadership, human resource management, business ethics and strategy in various leading universities in 26 countries.
He has consulted 300 learners from diverse organizations and has supervised over 250 theses, projects and field studies. An author of numerous published journals and books, he has advised over 150 scholars presenting at local and international conferences, proceedings and publishing in journals.
In Benilde’s mission to provide innovative and inclusive education, McGuire joins the growing list of the college’s international visiting professors, which includes Professor Keith Robert Goffin from Cranfield University in UK, Dr. Simon Lloyd Restubog from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in USA, Milan Pavlovic of Seneca College in Canada and Dr. Patrick Garcia of Macquarie University in Australia.
The course will be conducted through a series of modular online classes in the first term of Academic Year 2021-2022, from 5 November to 4 December 2021.
