Looking for a place to spend a day and relax with friends or family during the pandemic? Lambingan Hills is a campsite in Tanay, Rizal, often visited by tourists and locals, where one can experience cool climate just like in Baguio. What you need to do is make a reservation because they don’t allow walk-ins due to health and safety protocols.
With affordable rates and a two-hour travel time from Manila, Lambingan Hills can be in anyone’s priority list to visit. For those with their own private vehicles, you can use the Waze app, using the “Lambingan Hills Legit” direction. Public commuters, there are available PUVs going to the campsite.
From Cubao, Quezon City, one can find these routes: Cubao-SM Masinag (P30 for jeepney or P50 for UV Express) and SM Masinag-Cuyambay (P130 for UV Express, available from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.). From Cuyambay to the jump-off point, take a tricycle for P30. From the jump-off point, there is a 10-15 minute trek that will lead you to the campsite.
