After its successful return to action amid the raging pandemic, the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) is eyeing to stage two conferences next year.
Organizers of the country’s first women’s volleyball professional league bared in a statement that they are planning to hold the first conference in February while the season-ending tournament is slated in October.
Venues are yet to be determined.
The PVL became a pro league this year and kicked its first season with the Open Conference last 17 July.
Newcomer Chery Tiggo ruled the bubble set up tournament held in Bacarra, Ilocos Norte after dethroning favored Creamline in a dramatic come-from-behind best-of-three series victory.
A second season was proposed for this year but was shelved as requested by participating teams due to the alarming uptick in Covid-19 cases throughout the country.
