The Queen’s Gambit star Anya Taylor-Joy walked on the red carpet in vibrant neon pink at the premiere night of Edgar Wright’s trippy psychological horror Last Night in Soho at the 78th Venice International Film Festival.

The gown is mainly inspired by the setting of the film.

Styled by Law Roach,
Taylor-Joy wears a hot pink satin Dior Haute Couture gown matched with a pink netted fascinator and shoes, embracing a 1960s retro glamor look and channeling a famous ‘60s pop culture icon
— the Barbie doll.

Last Night in Soho is about a young woman who heads to London intending on becoming a fashion designer. But her journey turns into a nightmare as she mysteriously finds herself transported back to 1966, inhabiting the life of her idol singer named Sandie.

Focus Features will release the film in the United States on 29 October.
