Parañaque sets liquor sale window

Under the modified liquor ban, the city will allow the selling of liquor and other alcoholic beverages from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. only.

The city government of Parañaque has implemented a modified liquor ban that will be in effect until 30 September.

Said ban was ordered by Mayor Edwin Olivarez following the extension of the modified enhanced community quarantine by the national government until 15 September.

Under the modified liquor ban, the city will allow the selling of liquor and other alcoholic beverages from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. only.

But Olivarez said the serving of liquor and other alcoholic beverages shall remain prohibited in all establishments to avoid gatherings.

On 2 August, the city also imposed a liquor ban four days before the National Capital Region was placed under the enhanced community quarantine from 6 to 20 August.
