A policeman who was rushed to a hospital in Valenzuela City in the wee hours for high blood pressure is in hot water after he gravely threatened the hospital staff for failing to immediately attend to him.
The suspect was identified as patrolman Angelo Abalos, 37, who was reportedly kept waiting at the hospital triage room along with other patients to determine who needs priority treatment.
Beside himself, the cop threatened that he would shoot the security guard, Gilbert Belmonte, if his demands for immediate care wasn’t met.
That is, if he had his gun with him.
The enraged cop then went straight to the emergency room and there he threatened a nurse, Simon Galicia, who attended to him at once.
Little did the cop know that while he was being treated, the staff in question had already telephoned Valenzuela Police for help.
After he was done being observed, he was immediately brought to the police station where two grave threat charges would be pressed against him.
