Aeroladies Lajaras Angel's headed by Idy, perform the Katribu Paturok Tiktok Challenge dance Infront of the Calamba Laguna City Hall, to the tune of The Daily Tribune-RJ FM Radio’s Bakuna jingle.

They danced to the groove, writhed to the beat, and had a blast.

The Daily Tribune and RJFM’s “KaTribu Bakuna Paturok TikTok Challenge” is on its third week bringing the correct information, laughter, exciting prizes, and most of all, fresh hope that this pandemic will soon end if we will all contribute and do our part by going out and getting vaccinated.

Launched in mid-August, the Daily Tribune’s “Balak-Hatak” van has been going around the National Capital Region — Plus Bubble to encourage the public to do their share. And we do this with flair and style.

Blasting with Ramon “RJ” Jacinto’s “Bakuna Jingle,” our “Balak-Hatak” van asks volunteers, from vendors, commuters, barangay tanods, police officers, and ordinary folks to dance to the beat of the jingle and created their interpretation of the TikTok challenge while duplicating our signature “Paturok move” after answering our i-Speak question for the day.

“We had fun promoting the “Katribu Bakuna Paturok TikTok Challenge,” said Cherk Balagtas, the official ‘Cherk List’ of our daily morning show Gising Na! “Early Monday morning, the KaTribu team had a warm reception from vendors, commuters, barangay tanods, police officers and ordinary folks. They went nuts upon hearing the jingle. We did not have a problem looking for volunteers to do the TikTok challenge.”

The TikTok Challenge was launched in the so-called “great wall of Langaray” which divides Barangay 14 in Caloocan City and Barangay Longos in Malabon. Later that day, the KaTribu caravan went around Camanava (Caloocan, Malabon, Navotas and Valenzuela) as the RJ Bakuna Jingle, “Paturok,” played.

Each participant received merchandise items from Daily Tribune, including mugs, T-shirts, and caps. But they also automatically qualify for the weekly contest where they have a chance to win P2,000 in cash and other prizes. For the grand finals, they will win RJ guitars, including Daily Tribune merchandising items.

To capture the moments, our crew used the latest Reno 6 mobile phone.

The OPPO Reno6 Series features an AI Triple Camera setup with a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2MP macro camera. On the front, both Reno6 Z 5G and Reno6 5G are equipped with a 32MP selfie camera that you can use to shoot stunning, natural, and clear portraits. Additionally, Reno6 5G has a dedicated color temperature sensor that accurately captures the hue and warmth of colors in shots.
