Pasig buy-bust nets shabu courier

A 45-year-old drug suspect was nabbed in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Sta. Lucia, Pasig City on Thursday evening.
The suspect — identified as Rexlan Ressureccion, alias Rex — was arrested by operatives of the district drug enforcement unit, district intelligence division, district special operations unit, and district mobile force battalion of the Eastern Police District, and the regional mobile force battalion of the National Capital Region Police Office at No. 171, Rosarioville, Barangay Sta. Lucia at about 7 p.m.
Seized from the suspect were one piece heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet of suspected shabu, nine pieces heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets of suspected shabu weighing more or less two grams with an estimated street value of P30,500, and the P500 buy-bust money.
The suspect, now detained at the Pasig City Police Station custodial facility, is facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
